With extensive training under Emil Opava (Minneapolis Symphony) and Harold Bennett (Metropolitan Opera), Elaine holds a music degree from the University of Minnesota and has served on its flute faculty for over three decades. Her performances are graced by the exquisite sound of a Manuel Arista flute.
A product of Richard Adams’ tutelage (Minnesota Orchestra), Barbara has achieved B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota. A veteran music educator, her students have showcased their talent across the U.S. and Canada. She plays a historic Jacob Steininger violin from the late 18th century.
Charles earned his Master of Music from Juilliard and is finalizing his doctorate at the University of Minnesota, having studied under renowned instructors like Tanya Remenikova, Hans Jorgen Jensen, and Richard Aaron. Active in orchestras, chamber ensembles, and solo recitals, he is a faculty member at UM-Morris and UW-River Falls, and teaches in the Twin Cities. His performances feature a Gary Davis cello crafted in 1996, complemented by a Pierre Simon bow dating back to 1860.
Our instrumentation is Flute, Violin, and Cello or 2 Violins and Cello. Together, these instruments form a symphony of expertise across all music genres, with a special affinity for chamber music.
